Sept 06: Cardboard toys
Time: 12.30-2.30pm (please arrive 15-30 mins earlier)

You will need:
Box cardboard
Scissors
Tape
Pens, pencil, eraser
Paint, paintbrush, water in a cup
Introduction (1 hour)
Today we are going to use refuse material to make animal toys.
We will start with making a small animal. Later feel free to experiment with trying to make other toys.
Main Activity

Step 1: Design your toy
Mark out on a sheet of paper the different parts of your toy.
Step 2: Cut it out of cardboard & slot together / assemble to see if it works.
Step 3: disassemble and draw a pattern on it and paint carefully and let dry.
Step 4: Then assemble for final photo! Add accessories if needed.
Conclusion
Bring everyone’s animals together and take a photo!
Next week:
Bring iratu and crepe/ oil paper or newspapers. We are making a lamp!
