Interested in Volunteering?

It takes a village. Or a city!

Our biggest asset is people. School-leavers, community members, and various design professionals who have shared their time and energy. Together, through word of mouth, we’ve managed to host volunteer driven classes on weekends for 10 years.

Perhaps this class could grow, and with your help we can bring in more kids into the safe space of the Children’s Center.

Honestly, it’s fun. So come!

Here’s some useful information on commitment:

What we teach: Project based and architecture/maker themed art classes, English

Time:

Sundays from 12.00-2.00pm (Art- Nagaswatte),
Saturdays from 2.00pm -4.00pm (Art- Seduwatte)
Sundays from 2.30-4.00pm (English- Nagaswatte)

Nagaswatte Location: Building Hope Children’s center, Nagahaswatte road, Kirulapone, Colombo 5

Seduwatte Location: Holy Trinity Church, Sedawatte, Colombo 14
