Have you ever thought about how a bird sees the world? This lesson helps us observe our surroundings from a different perspective, and see everyday objects in a whole new light.This exercise also subtly introduces students to the idea of maps. Join us, and learn to draw a map of your classroom! (Or anywhere, really)

Parents, Teachers: Feel free to alter the lesson to draw the ‘top view’ of anything you like! For example: a pineapple, a person seated cross-legged, a plant etc. Just make sure that children can get up on a chair and look at it in a bird’s eye view.
